What is Melatonin?

Melatonin is a natural hormone that is produced by our bodies in the pineal gland. When the sun goes down and it darkens, the pineal gland gradually releases melatonin, which prepares the body for sleep. This is the mechanism which regulates the sleep-wake cycle. Melatonin has also been scientifically proven to play a role in regulating body temperature, blood pressure and hormonal levels. This hormone also binds to certain receptors to help relax and relieve tension.

INGREDIENTS: bulking agents (cellulose, dicalcium phosphate), blue spirulina, melatonin, anti-caking agents (magnesium salts of fatty acids, silicon dioxide).

SUGGESTED USE: take 1 tablet about 20 minutes before sleep. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. This product is not a substitute for food.
